(ATLANTA) - Since debuting on Sept. 30, the album from Reach Records’ recording artist Lecrae, maintains the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album chart for the second week. Making history as the first Christian Rap album to sit in the top position, “Rebel” has ended the 18-week run of Marvin Sapp’s “Thirsty,” placing it in the No. 2 position while Voices’ “The Ultimate Gospel Collection,” CeCe Winans’ “Thy Kingdom Come,” and Shekinah Glory’s “Jesus” complete the Top 5 positions, respectively.
 
“Rebel” also maintains top placement on Billboards’ Top Christian/Gospel Album chart behind WOW Hits, Jon McLaughlin, Anberlin, Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, and Third Day – the album sits in the No. 7 position – and closed out the week in the No. 5 position on iTunes’ Top Rap/Hip Hop Album following T.I.’s “Paper Trail,” Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter III,” and Young Jeezy’s “The Recession.”

St Louis’ Cross Movement Records artist FLAME collaborated with Reach Records artist Lecrae and Philadelphia based, Christian Rock artist John Reilly (the Reilly Band) to produce the hit single ‘Joyful Noise’ from FLAME’s Billboard chart-topping album OUR WORLD REDEEMED.

Debuting #4 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Chart and #1 on CMTA’s R&B/Hip Hop Charts, OUR WORLD REDEEMED released on March 4, 2008. After much success of the album, great raves and reviews from critics and even a push from FLAME’s supporters about the perfectly placed outro of the song on the album, FLAME teamed up with Tripp Crosby (‘Jesus Muzik’ and ‘Who Am I?’) to produce FLAME’s second music video. Freedom Fest Set for the Weekend

ATLANTA — The final line up for the 6th Annual Freedom Fest is confirmed and festival goers are set to embark on Washington ’s largest Christian music & art festival. The highly anticipated event will attract thousands of music lovers to Snohomish, WA August 15-August 17. 

Held annually at the 20-acre Stocker Farms, the weekend events include sports, games, Inspirational Speakers, and talents from local and nationwide artists. 

Freedom Fest is an incredible time of renewal, rejuvenation, and rejoicing through a wide range of music styles. Atlanta, GA — In a dual ceremony before an intimate group of close family, friends, labelmates and industry supporters, Marcus Gray, also known as Cross Movement Records’ recording artist FLAME, wed his best friend and longtime girlfriend, Crystal Singh, in his hometown of St Louis, MO.

 

Marcus and Crystal celebrated their marriage through, both, an Indian and American wedding ceremony. To celebrate the bride’s India ancestry, the Indian ceremony began with Marcus arriving on a white horse decked in traditional Indian garments followed by a reception with Indian cuisine.It was an emotional moment for the bride, groom, and guests later in the evening during the American ceremony. Officiated by Pastor Jeff White, the wedding was infused with a Gospel message followed by an additional reception and celebration.

The couple honeymooned on the Sandals Resort in St Lucia and will reside in Louisville, KY where FLAME is studying Biblical Counseling at the Southern Baptist Theological Undergraduate Seminary (Boyce College) and Crystal is completing her Doctorate in Psychology.

Atlanta, GA (June 5) – Reach Records is proud to announce the launch of the ‘Unashamed Tour’ which began on June 3, 2008 featuring Reach Records recording artists Lecrae, Trip Lee, Sho Baraka, and Tedashii. With a mission to spread the gospel by calling each city to live an unashamed life for the Lord, entry to most stops will be FREE. Special guests will appear in select cities.
 
The ‘Unashamed Tour’ will visit more than 25 cities nationwide and internationally, including Los Angeles, Dallas, Seattle, and Miami. The tour will conclude in the UK with stops in London and Birmingham, just to name a few.
